Linton College started its operations in 1985 and in its early stages, the College concentrated on offering vocational and diploma level courses in engineering. Since 1993 till to-date, the College has been conducting the Higher National Diploma courses under collaborative agreement with The Nottingham Trent University (TNTU). In 1999, the collaborative relationship achieved another milestone: the College was given the approval by TNTU to conduct the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechanical Engineering (Final Year Studies) followed by the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
